Waste management tips for site managers

We used a recent workshop to remind our workers of the importance of waste management on site, ensuring we continue to protect the ENVIRONMENT even after our construction projects have finished on site by ensuring we manage and track our waste streams.

This was organised by our Environmental Advisor dedicated full time to the project.

The training included:

  • Heightened awareness and reminders for those workers involved with the removal of waste materials from site
  • The completion and status of waste transfer notes including descriptions and coding of waste
  • How to check waste carriers registration status
  • A reminder of the waste hierarchy triangle.

We included handy credit card sized reminder cards for our key workers to take away as a reminder of their responsibilities, with contact details for our Environmental Advisor.
