Water saving taps

Reducing the amount of water used on site is very important.

St George have implemented Performa spray filters on all of the push taps in the welfare facilities saving over 2 litres of water per use.

This is demonstrated further by our water consumption readings, which show a reduction of 21% over the previous month since the taps have been installed.

Click the following links to view the difference between how the taps worked before and after the filter was fitted.

This is one of a number of changes we are making on site to reduce our environmental impact and improve sustainability.

Yes we have received positive feedback and have found these taps to be just as effective.

These taps benefit from a ‘pressured spray’ effect rather than a typical flow of water easing the removal of dirt.

  2. Kris Karslake says:

These look great, have you had much feedback from your workforce? Are these taps good for getting dirty hands and arms clean?

    1. Hi Kris,

We will look into this for you and let you know once we have more information.
