Window and Glazing Installations over 25kg

Window and Glazing Installations over 25 kg now exceed the manual handling requirements on site, which means crane or lifting aids using sucker systems are used to install the window and glazed items.

It is best practice for lifting appliances to use a propriety strapping system on the sucker systems as a secondary safety system should the mechanical or electronic sucker fail. Secondary safety devices increase operative safety and are designed to be securely tightened around the load and attached to the crane hook using heavy duty polypropylene straps.
