Women in Engineering
One of our female engineers, Pooja Godhania, delivered a talk and a Q&A session at Durham University where she explained her career so far from university to becoming a section engineer on our scheme.
She was able to talk through the different projects she has worked on, the challenges and experiences she has had on each one and explained each role she’s had as she has progressed her career.
The students asked lots of questions about how women are regarded on site and what our company is doing to promote engineering, given that there is a shortage in the industry and there are very few women taking up engineering.
