Over the past few months this contractor has been working with the Royal Borough of Greenwich and London South East Colleges to set up a women into construction boot camp to provide training and skills to get women from Greenwich Borough into the construction industry.

It is being provided in a 4 week programme with recruitment of learners being delivered by Royal Borough of Greenwich and their partners

Tutors to complete 1-2-1 sessions with candidates to understand what roles candidates are looking for and then a Contractor Agreement is to be sent over to the contractor to get work placement numbers and apprenticeships on offer.

Candidates will complete a 4 week bootcamp over at London and South East colleges training facility at Greenwich Park, with this training providing Level 1 H&S, CSCS card, Level 1 City & Guilds Multitrade, Work experience rotation and employability support/apprenticeships opportunities

The contractor and its subcontractors will provide managers to attend to provide support and training to the bootcamp as well as financial support for travel etc.
