World Health Day

World Health Day is coordinated annually by the World Health Organisation (WHO).

This day aims to raise awareness of health issues.

To support World Health Day on your site, you could do the following:

  • Have posters about depression and mental health in welfare areas of the site, such as the canteen;
  • Review the Considerate Constructors Scheme’s Spotlight on… mental health learning toolkit, which includes case studies of how sites have raised awareness of mental health amongst the workforce.
  • Support the Construction Industry Helpline and make operatives aware that this support is available.
