The construction industry are very keen to re-use materials, for instance this contractor has re-used plywood from hoarding to build temporary steps or pallets to make seating.

However, there are other thing we should be considering to re-use, last year, over 470 people die while waiting for a transplant and the NHS estimates there to be over 6,000 people on UK Transplant Waiting List.

In 2020/2021, NHS have facilitated over 3,400 transplants. Considering the information, this contractor have created the You Can Save Lives Campaign, to encourage site workers to register as organ donor.

Signage is displayed in the welfare facilities and also discussed during DABs meetings and Men’s Health Talks.
