Waste Champions Initiative

The site has developed a waste champions initiative with a monthly award given to the individual subcontractors and staff on site who are going above and beyond to improve productivity and lessen waste. This has supported significant waste reduction figures achieved, increased waste awareness, understanding, involvement and commitment to minimising waste across the sites supply chain.


T-Lift Hoists on Tower Cranes

Tower cranes on site are installed with T-Lift hoists. The hoists form part of the access strategy removing the requirement to climb the crane via ladder. The hoists also form part of the rescue strategy allowing for easier and faster access to the cab. With the multi crane hoists this will allow for a reduction in relief drivers.

The site entry system has an infrared camera installed to check operatives temperature with an additional feature to check whether face covering are being worn. Entry is only permitted to those who meet site rules which includes normal body temperature and wearing of face covering.
