What this means in practice

Competency does not stop at initial checks. Sites are expected to provide clear inductions and ongoing training so that people understand site rules, risks and expectations as work progresses.

This includes training on behaviours, safety, site‑specific risks and CCS expectations, particularly for those who lead or supervise work.

• 4 mandatory CCS eLearning modules completed by all individuals who lead or supervise the delivery of works on site.

Suggested Methods & Actions

• Deliver site induction covering CCS Code and safety requirements.
• Schedule toolbox talks and refresher sessions.
• Track training completion.

What this looks like in practice
