Environmental Visual Standards

Displaying and conveying important site information to the workforce is vital.

However, there are times when the level of site information and posters can cause overload, where people become ‘blind’ and walk straight past.

For this reason a series of visual standards have been produced to demonstrate ‘what good looks like’.

There is minimal text, with images demonstrating good practice from bad.

Information is more accessible to the workforce and details are naturally absorbed, compared to a poster simply containing text. There have been thirteen environmental visual standards produced to date.
