Using Drone Technology to Aid Communication and Training

The company have developed an approach for public communication and staff training, by using digital technology which is then projected into a 360° viewing room.

This has proved amazingly popular with visitors, particularly dignitaries, who can see at first hand everything that is happening along the length of the project.

The viewing can be provided in real-time using a drone, or alternatively it can be uploaded to provide a report.

The client, Network Rail, have enthusiastically supported this development, as it also provides information to train drivers and railway staff about ongoing work along the track. This is also being presented to the Network Rail contractors’ meeting. IOSH and HSE have both requested to view this technology.
