Health and Safety Showcase

In partnership with Speedy Services, the 80 Charlotte Street site held a Health and Safety Showcase on site, with a particular focus on the control and management of dust; something the HSE and industry in general are looking at in great detail. A variety of manufacturers and suppliers set up stands to show off their services and demonstrate their latest products.

Invitations were sent out across the Multiplex business, through our client Derwent London and across our supply chain to attend the Charlotte Street site giving attendees the opportunity to see the products in action.

Supplier giveaways and raffle prizes were all up for grabs, with the first prize being an iPad donated by Justine Bridge of Speedy Services. Ticket sales from the raffle all went to the 80 Charlotte Street nominated charity, Chickenshed.

Over 200 people attended and took advantage of trying out the latest innovations and speaking to suppliers to see how the industry could move forward together to help eliminate one of the most serious occupational health hazards in construction and beyond.
