Local Sourcing Display

Assistant QS was asked to collate localism data for the project so used his data analytical skills to create a localism data ‘slider’ within an excel spreadsheet used to present achievements to key project stakeholders.

The slider moves from 0 to 120 miles, as it moves, the percentage of construction suppliers & materials sourced updates automatically.

This transferable tool allows the positive news around local sourcing to become more interactive, amplifying the socio-economic and environmental benefits the project has delivered to interested parties.
