Solar Powered Footpath Lighting

In order to carry out the required works at the Linton Grove estate regeneration project, scaffolds will sometimes need to be constructed over public footpaths. This can cause poor lighting conditions for the public, and in order to prevent accidents and provide safe access PIR security lighting installation is essential.

In order to save energy and promote a considerate use of power we opted to install solar powered PIR LED lighting. This both provided sufficient lighting for the public footpaths enabling safe use and access as well as making cost and carbon savings.

This system also has the added benefit of providing simple installation and low maintenance. The PIR sensor also allows for the lighting to automatically switch off to prevent the possible disturbing of local residents with lighting shining through their windows all night .
