Upcycling Materials

Wanting to enhance the appearance of our site and provide pleasant outdoor rest areas for our workforce and our sub-contractors, we contacted local suppliers and advertised within the local community to collect any redundant pallets or unwanted timber (whilst maintaining social distancing).

The response was fantastic, with a number of pallets being donated to our team, who then up cycled these, making a variety of benches and outdoor planters, which have been positioned around the site office and welfare facilities.

These will be planted with flowers to brighten up the area, as well as a range of salad vegetables which will be made available in the canteen once grown, to encourage healthy eating.
