Window Fabrication Factory Visit

With the second phase of Aldercar High School underway, students from the school were given the opportunity to visit the window fabrication factory to see how the windows on the job are designed and produced.

The students took a tour of the office and were able to see the programs that are used to create windows. The students were given the opportunity to use these programs and were given the details of the windows that will be present on site – allowing them to create the windows that will be present within the new build at Aldercar.

The students were also given a guide around the factory to see the different stages of window production.

The students will then visit site the day of installation so that they are able to see the process from start to finish.

This gives the students and opportunity to see the work that goes into certain aspects of construction, and giving them an in-depth involvement in the construction process.
