Learning Disability Week
Learning Disability Week is coordinated annually by MENCAP.
This week focuses on the issues affecting people with a learning disability and their families.
To support Learning Disability Week on your site, you could do the following:
- Hold toolbox talks making your workforce aware of learning disability related issues and the support available;
- Provide a confidential support network and open-door policy, to encourage workers to speak up if they have any issues;
- Download resources and a community impact project pack from the MENCAP website.
Learning Disability Week takes place from 15-21 June in 2026.
