First Aid Audio Instructions

When First Aid is required, people can find themselves in a state of shock and despite having up to date First Aid training people might experience a brain fog resulting in lack of concentration and the inability to remember all the vital checks and first aid steps when faced with an emergency.

At this contractor all their onsite staff have been first aid trained, however they would like to avoid the situation when their employees might forget what to do when faced with an emergency.

They have equipped all their sites with a First Aid Audio Instructions device. It works by simply turning the device on and pressing relevant buttons. By pressing a button labelled ‘First Checks’ a calm voice will guide the person providing first aid through all the necessary steps to ensure the person needing first aid is stabilised and are prompted to press any following buttons if more help is needed.

The instructions are clear and even provide the first aider with ‘clicks’ to maintain rhythm during CPR and other vital guidance for each category. This has proved very popular with staff and it has been mock tested A number of times as found useful as a First aid refresher as well as having a confidence that practical aid is provided if needed.
