Anti Microbiological Surface Coating

The team has had to become adaptable and flexible to accommodate the additional health risk of coronavirus. The team investigated options to reduce the risk, and amongst other more basic controls, they have implemented an additional measure; the application of an anti-microbiological surface coating.

The coating is applied every weekend to all high traffic areas, such as entrance barriers and door handles. It provides an effective initial microbial kill long-term, not just on application. It is anti-bacterial and anti-viral product, with permanent fungicidal action. In addition, it prevents mould growth on smooth and textured surfaces.

As the product is such a good solution for a large number of common everyday issues concerning health, the team have been tasked with ensuring its benefits are being shared with other projects within the company. The long term plan is that the regular application of the anti microbiological surface coating becomes standard practice going forward.
