Cabbed Dumpers

The use of cabbed dumpers on this project has given the operators a better working environment due to being able to work in a dry air-conditioned cab rather than an open air seat as previously.

Also, several of the cabbed dumpers that are used can be driven by the operator in the direction that he is facing by rotating the seat and therefore removing the need to reverse the vehicle in the traditional sense making the operation safer for all around.

In addition to the ergonomic benefits, the enclosed cab has health and safety benefits for the operator as it provides better protection should an incident with the dumper occur, the operator can also stay in the cab whilst being loaded removing the risk of getting on and off the dumper.

On a productivity front, one benefit is the works can be undertaken in inclement weather improving productivity.
