Cased Secant Piling

A good internal and external appearance of a construction site is vital in promoting a positive image of the industry.

A site should look clean, tidy and professional, to help build valuable relations with both clients and the community; whilst also demonstrating a well managed and considerate business.

Methods to maintain a tidy and well-organised site are important to demonstrate that you are a considerate constructor.

Below is an example of how one site implemented an innovative working practice, to help maintain a professional appearance:

  • Spoil was removed efficiently from augering the pilling hole, using a method known as Cased Secant Piling;
  • Spoils from augering the pilling hole were efficiently excavated into waiting earth-moving lorries.
