Child Safety Week

Child Safety Week is an annual campaign run by the Child Accident Prevention Trust (CAPT).

This week focuses on raising awareness of the risks of child accidents and how they can be prevented.

This is a great opportunity for the Scheme’s registered sites, companies and suppliers to take part and engage with their communities to promote the importance of safety, as well as showcasing the very best of the construction industry.

To support Child Safety Week on your site, you could do the following:

  • Invite schools to visit your site and educate them about site safety, as well as raising awareness of potential hazards and risks;
  • Visit schools to educate them about site safety and also to encourage them to take up a career in construction;

Child Safety Week takes place from 3-9 June in 2024.
