The Site Manager has devised a system for recording the information for visitors to the site as the use of ICE tags attached to site helmets is for long term site personnel.

The system is for short term visitors and consists of a plastic ‘see through’ envelope with a red border. The envelope contains a card and on one side is the name and telephone number of the individual. The other side gives details on medication and other details such as next of kin with both sides being filled in by the visitor.

The plastic envelope is attached to the PPE of the visitor with only side one (the name) being visible meaning the medical details are hidden from view, but can easily be turned round in case of emergency.

When the visitor leaves the site, the card is removed from the envelope and handed to the visitor, who can dispose of it. The plastic envelope is returned to the Site Manager for reuse.
