Forklift Camera and Laser Safety System

This contractor has introduced a wireless fork-mounted camera and laser level system to support their forklift drivers, especially during high lifting where visibility is limited.

The camera unit is magnetic and easily removable, with only a short cable running from the camera to the receiver and positioned safely away from any crush points.

Both the camera and receiver are battery powered and USB-charged, removing the need for long trailing cables along the boom or into the cab.

A screen inside the cab displays a clear live feed from the forks, allowing drivers to see the load and alignment when operating at height.

The integrated laser projects a visible level line from the forks, giving an immediate reference point to help ensure accurate and safe positioning.

Since introducing this system, drivers have reported improved visibility, increased confidence, and smoother placement of materials at height. The setup is simple to install, fully portable between machines, and can also be used only when required for specific lifts.

Based on the benefits observed, they are now reviewing wider rollout across their sites to continue improving safety and operational efficiency.
