GambleAware Stigma Toolkit

GambleAware is the leading charity working to keep people safe from gambling harms. They offer free, confidential advice, tools and support for anyone worried about how gambling makes them feel.

Research has shown that one in four of us think we know someone who has experienced problems with their gambling, with data showing 61% of those surveyed are put off talking about it due to concerns around stigma.

To combat the stigma, GambleAware have launched a national public health campaign to reduce the stigma associated with gambling harms. To support the campaign, they have made available a suite of downloadable assets which can be shared across internal and external channels including social media posts, posters, short and long copy, and a staff briefing.
