Improved Workwear

Research shows that creating a positive work culture can do wonders for productivity.

If you establish a work culture that employees are excited to be part of, they’ll be happier with their jobs. Happier employees are more likely to exceed expectations! Crofton Interiors adopts this ethos in all areas of the business, therefore changing the workwear to suit the needs of our operatives is just part and parcel of providing a happy environment.

After evaluating the current workwear and listening to feedback from the operatives, the company recognised that there was room for improvement with the branded polo shirts. Although they were of good quality and made from cotton, they easily lost their shape and became quite restricting and uncomfortable after being washed. It was decided to research sportswear materials to find a more light weight and flexible option. The company are pleased to now be able to provide their operatives with Poly Mirco, Coolite branded polo shirts, which are often used by professional rugby teams. By changing this material they aim to provide the following for the workforce:

  • Improved comfort and fit, which means a more happy and efficient workforce.
  • No need to use an iron, as the material has a natural flexibility to it which does not crease easily, therefore more environmentally friendly.
  • Lower recommended washing temperature of 30 degrees, therefore more environmentally friendly.
  • Absorbs perspiration.
  • Improved branding and company image.
