Improving Air Quality

Following discussions between the site team, we agreed to get behind and support Clean Air Day on 21st June 2018.

Lots of members of the team got involved including the clients Clerk of works; making pledges to turn engines off whenever possible; cycle to work and leave the car at home. Our Site Manager Rob Heaton and Site Labourer Stuart Pover walked 6 miles to and from work.

Since Clean Air Day everyone has been making a conscious effort to continue to improve air quality and reduce our carbon footprint by the using the ideas and guidance from Clean Air Day and the hints and tips that Tracey Herrick our SHE advisor delivered as pledged.

Our Site Manager was so inspired by this fantastic initiative that he has decided to continue leaving his car at home and has now decided to challenge himself further and complete the Three peaks challenge on 27th July 2018.
