This contractor is using high strength lasers to clean rust and imperfections from existing steel beams and columns to prepare them ready for new intumescent paint coverings.

This is a technique not ordinarily used on construction sites with its primary application in factory’s or workshops.

This is quicker than tradition sand blasting, scrapping and buffing away or stripping with chemicals.
