Making Operatives Aware of Sugar Content in Drinks

Safeguarding the wellbeing of your workforce is essential.

Sites should encourage and provide healthy food choices for the workforce.

Efforts should be made to encourage employees to think about their health choices and provide information to aid them in leading a healthier lifestyle.

Below is an example of how operatives were made aware of their sugar intake:

  • The Project Manager set up a prominent and very impressive visual display in the canteen;
  • This showed the sugar content in drinks to effectively promote healthy drink intake;
  • There were also several posters placed around the canteen relating to healthy eating;
  • Free fruit was provided.
