Monitoring Roads for Inconsistencies

This contractor is using the Vaisala system to drive through sites as part of the “Walk Talk” build process.

The system looks for inconsistencies in the road, such as dips, and potholes as well as recording assets along the road.

The information can be used to decide where patching might be required before the surface treatment takes place, after the road dressing is complete the system is used again.

This gives the contractor a before and after view of the road and also helps to show signs added, such as loose chippings.
