Offering Meeting Space to Local Charities

The project team have an office close to the construction site. The office is in a serviced office, shared with other commercial tenants and also includes a roof terrace.

The building has several meetings rooms which are not constantly in use, and so the team has offered the spaces to be used by charities or community groups.

The offer was shared with the local authority, who provided a list of local charities to contact. The Community and Skills Manager also shared the offer with a local network of corporate responsibility managers to share with their charity partners.

Charities have contacted the project to book one-off meetings in the meeting rooms, saving the charities a minimum of £30 per hour that it would cost to hire a meeting room locally.
