Recyclable Plastic Hoarding

Sites should be conscious of the impact their project is having on the environment.

In order to limit the negative impact, the waste produced on site should be reduced and recycled.

Measures to reduce waste should be identified and implemented on site.

Below is an example of how sites have achieved this, using recyclable hoardings:

Hoarding was constructed using a recyclable product called Plasloc, made from 100% recycled plastic;
The plastic hoarding could be customised to receive corporate branding as well as to include doors and windows;
It was installed and fitted by the manufacturer and certified as being able to carry the wind and other loads;
The panels were supported by kentledge and made out of the same plastic feet that Heras fencing sits in and is therefore non-ground penetrating;
The manufacturer carried out regular inspections to ensure that it remained safe;
The plastic hoardings were dismantled by the manufacturer and taken away for re-use when no longer required.
