Subcontractor Briefing Point

We decided to have a central point onsite where all supervisors of trades could meet in the morning with the main contractor management to collect permits, add to a dry wipe noticeboard information such as operative numbers, where they are working, what they need, what major deliveries are expected.

It also has up to date relevant information like who the first aiders are, who the fire marshals are and what the fire plans are.

We have also now put it as a first aid point with blankets and first aid kits.

Communication is a key to safety and also a good place to start the day as a team and look at any issues and get to know each other properly.
