Two Part Diamond Core Drill Bits

This contractor is currently working on a hospital and are putting up several kilometers of timber which requires thousands of core holes to be drilled into concrete.

They had found that traditional metal cores once used would just be thrown away and bearing in mind it was just the tip of the core that wears away and became unusable this is a complete waste.

The contractor therefore contacted their supplier and they are now provided with two-part cores with an easily detachable end so when the core end has done its work this is the only part that gets disposed of thus saving waste, the cost of the tips is half the price of buying the whole core so its a win on waste and a win on cost.
