Visibility of operatives

We currently work on a large project in the City and have a number of people directing traffic and the public around the construction operations at the perimeters of the site.

These operations can be hazardous at the best of times and the dark mornings and dark evenings provide a challenge in terms of safety for the operatives and also the directions they give to pedestrians and drivers ensuring that they are seen.

Although high visibility PPE is good we also strive to achieve better visibility and as such we have introduced a purpose made flashing halo for the safety helmets which has a number of settings including static and flashing.

The addition has been welcomed by those directing traffic and has had a positive effect on daily operations.
