The Recycled Zen Garden

On this project, they are isolated from local amenities so they though it was very important to provide the workforce with a place they can relax in when taking their lunch and breaks.

To achieve this they used recycled timber gained from pallets on site and shuttering ply used for concrete works to create an outside eating and relaxing area called the “The Zen Garden”. They bought flowers from a local garden centre to contribute to the local community and have also built a BBQ from recycled materials.

One BBQ took place to celebrate and say thank you to the workforce for their efforts on the project and a second BBQ was to raise money for two very worthwhile causes; The Lighthouse Club Charity that deals with Mental Health for Construction Workers and also a Colleague who is raising money for medical care for his son.
