Autism Friendly Road Signage

Workshops were held on site raising the awareness of autism, extending to the mental health first aiders.

After communication with TfL, London Borough of Tower Hamlets and Speedy Hire, the Wardian site team implemented a structure that provides informational supplement in the form of road signage for upcoming road and pedestrian closures as these can have a negative impact on autistic persons.

The structure is intended to make people aware of ongoing site works and seek alternative routes.

They were advised that the lack of information is a major risk factor to autistic persons close to a dynamic construction site.
