Clean Air Day

Clean Air Day encourages us all to think about air pollution and how we can improve air quality. The campaign asks people to reduce the amount of air pollution they create, talk to others about how to improve air quality, and avoid harmful air pollution.

To participate in Clean Air Day you could consider the following:

  • Host an awareness-raising event on site focusing on construction’s impact on air pollution
  • Encourage employees to walk or cycle to work that day
  • Hold an event focused on preventing engine idling
  • Join the conversation on social media

More ideas can be found in the Clean Air Day 2017 Celebration Report outlining what people did to inform and inspire the public to take action on air pollution.
