Safety is paramount on site, and our workforce is reminded of safety procedures and the importance of safety via various methods.

We believe it is important to recognise best safety efforts and to reward those who demonstrate this. Therefore, we have a system in place in which ‘green cards’ are awarded. Upon the issue of a green card, the individual receives:

  • A voucher worth £5 which is redeemable in our on site canteen.
  • Two points per green card towards their monthly contractor scoreboard. The scoreboard is scored on different safety elements, in which the winning contractor will also receive a green card for all their operatives.
  • A letter is generated and sent to their MD to show our appreciation for their safe working.

Having incentives in place leads to a happier, and safe working workforce, and has proven to be a great success.
