Lone Working Alarm

Although not illegal, typically lone working is a last resort on site because of the additional risk it presents in the event of an incident. This contractor has identified a method to minimise this risk.

They have introduced a MySOS safety device which can be worn by the lone worker for additional protection. It is a GPS device that connects the lone worker to an alarm receiving service at the push of an SOS button and provides emergency services help faster than a 999 call. The device also records and saves audio for legal purposes.

If the individual becomes unresponsive the GPS can be used to locate them.

Operatives on site feel safer and less vulnerable with this device and it can also be taken off site for protection when travelling.
