Parking Permit

Pacy & Wheatley’s Diamond House site in Leicester is very tight on space and parking is also very limited, so we have introduced a Parking Permit. One A4 sheet of paper has two parking permits printed on it, this is then cut in half so that a single permit can be issued.

The permits are filed within the blank induction folder so that every time our site manager inducts a new site operative they are issued a permit to display on the dashboard of their vehicle. A parking permit has been also issued to all existing site operatives.

We have tried to cover various points within the parking permit as follows:

  • Instructions on where not to park (e.g. grass verges or pavement)
  • Advice on car sharing (could you car share?)
  • Reducing emissions (to help the environment)
  • #loveconstruction (to promote the industry)

We can now spot check any vehicles that are parked incorrectly and be confident that any offending vehicles are not owned by any P&W operatives or sub-contractors.
