Portable Stop and Go Boards

Appropriate traffic management should be in place in and around site, to protect road users, cyclists and pedestrians.

The use of stop and go signs can help the flow of traffic and ensure control and order on the roads.

Clear traffic signage can also encourage slow and safer driving, to help minimise accidents, injuries and potential fatalities.

  • This site has devised a handheld Stop and Go board with LED lighting for use at night and had a small camera mounted on the top, which recorded all actions that took place.
  • Banksmen were given helmets that were also fitted with a camera to record incidents that may occur.

Recording actions can help analyse trends and learn from mistakes.
