RAPID System for Hazard Reduction

The site has incorporated a new system for quantifying risk potential. It follows the steps: Record, Apply, Pin-point, Inform, Develop (RAPID).

The tool has been developed to eliminate occupational illness/ disease. It aims to reduce/ eliminate health risks from commencement of design through to the construction stage.

The process is to analyse the volume and type of hazard data recorded, explore positive intervention and outcome by applying a risk reduction index multiplier to re-score the risk against typical hours worked/ headcount/ cost.
