Reversible Soil Enhancement System

From day one this contractor installed Soil Science’s Sureground Reversible Soil Stabilisation Process for their site access road, compound and laydown area.

This was used as it offered considerably improved environmental metrics compared to the traditional approach, helping the project achieve their BREEAM targets. It also provided them with cost and time savings, as well as minimising dust and mud for the school, local community and site compound.

Upon project completion, Soil Science will return to reclaim and reuse the stone, as well as undertaking decommissioning which will restore soil pH and nutrient to their original DEFRA indices.

This initiative means there will be fewer lorry movements, less vehicle-related emissions and a reduction in the quantity of aggregate transported onto site.
