Risk Mapping is a graphic representation of a set of factors present in the workplace, capable of causing damage to workers’ health: accidents and occupational diseases. Such factors originate in the various elements of the work process (materials, equipment, facilities, supplies and workspaces) and the structure of work organisation (physical arrangement, work rhythm, work method, work posture, working hours, work shifts, training, etc.)
The Risk Mapping is built based on the floor plan or sketch of the workplace, and the risks will be defined by the diameters of the circles.
