Virtual Site Tours for Schools

The project team arranged for a live transatlantic virtual site visit of one of their large construction sites in Philadelphia, USA for pupils at local secondary schools in North East Scotland as part of ongoing supports for a local Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) North East group.

Pupils from Lochside Academy, Westhill Academy & Portlethen Academy joined the call to hear from staff involved in delivery of the £1.5 billion US PennFirst New Patient Pavilion project in Philadelphia. The video call focused on learning about project team members pathways into construction as well as viewing a live tour of the project.

The live session was recorded and is to be shared via the DYW group to other local schools within Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire.
