Wates Health and Wellbeing Programme

The Wates Team at Lillie Square Phase 2 have introduced an area within our welfare facilities as a health and wellbeing station. We have purchased running machines, a cross trainer, rowing machines and bikes as well as providing external, maintained garden space.

We have provided other training apparatus for our Site Teams to use, from resistance bands to skipping ropes. We have also teamed up with Kevin McAlister of Lift Your Wellbeing and created training programmes for the Lille Square Site Team to sign up to.

Wates have paid for Kevin to provide 16 Training Sessions over an eight week period. Wates opened up the sessions for all and after a huge intake, had to put names in a hat and pick at random.

Lillie Sqaure Phase 2 site teams have since continued the training sessions with Kevin outside of the Wates programme.
