Ultrawis

Ultrawis is a new system that uses computer and camera technology to assist with operating the crane, along with providing driver assistance to aid with daily lifting activities. This system can provide the operators with a clearer, more advanced view of their work area along with letting users know exactly where their jib is positioned.

This provides the ability to eliminate blind lifting as the operators are able to see a clear a view of the landing area using the camera technology provided. It comes with a ‘call the crane’ function where the slinger, using an app, can notify the driver of their precise location or the location for the next lift improving productivity and safety.

This system can bring a competitive edge to construction projects by enhancing safety. It can improve productivity through tracking all loads lifted. Crane utilisation reports can be produced which can facilitate with enhancing real-time decision making. The system consolidates all existing systems used on the crane such as cameras, crane anti-collision and zoning/wind systems.

Other features include the ability to keep learning by recognising loads and storing data that can add to future and ongoing site developments.
