BeeBots STEM Activity

This contractor’s STEM, (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) ambassadors hosted a STEM themed activity at a library for local children.

Exercises included learning how to programme BeeBots. The BeeBot is a small programmable robot that introduces children to creating simple programs.

They learn the importance of sequences of accurate instructions, and test their sequences out using a ‘fakebot’ or paper-robot.

Children are then encouraged to debug and develop their sequences before programming the actual device and sharing their findings.
