Bespoke Vehicle Management Signage

Vehicle movements are one of construction’s key contributions to environmental concerns like air pollution and CO2 emissions. Accurately managing and tracking vehicles in and out of site is good environmental practice.

See the examples below for how one site went above and beyond to manage vehicle movements:

  • The site developed bespoke signage which features a vehicle log sheet capturing fleet ID numbers, description of materials, distance to site, time in and out, date, fuel type, five point pass and fail of the vehicle, five point driver check with an aid memo so as to remember the five point checks.
  • The signage included delivery driver rules and information regarding both cyclists and pedestrians.
  • A photograph is taken daily of this sign and submitted within the daily diary and onto a local server for the BREEAM accreditation for good control and monitoring of vehicles delivering and collecting from site.
